Thief apprehended after snatching woman’s bag
– good Samaritan gave chase
A man was yesterday apprehended by a vanload of police ranks mere minutes after snatching a woman’s purse in the vicinity of the Kitty Market.
Kaieteur News understands that after the robber snatched the woman’s bag, a public spirited eyewitness gave chase which continued into Vlissengen Road.

It was there that the police observed what was going on and swiftly apprehended the man.
