“Big Head” “Geddy Goat” remanded for Crabwood Creek Murder

Wamesh Ramballie, called “Big Head”, of Crabwood Creek  and Gopaul Samlal, called “Geddy Goat “, of Crabwood Creek, appeared on Friday at the Springlands Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Krisendat Persaud  on a charge of murder. They were not required to plead.
They are accused of murdering Agai Mohabir, 32, also of Crabwood Creek some time between Friday February 10 and Sunday February 12, last.
According to the prosecution the men who were friends, were drinking together on the Friday at a rum shop at Crabwood Creek when they had a misunderstanding over cigarettes.
The two accused allegedly then took Mohabir down a dam in the village and beat him then threw him into a trench.  His partially decomposed body was found on the Sunday in the trench at Crabwood Creek back dam.
Following investigations the two men were arrested and charged.
They are to return to court on June 26
