The Guyana Police Force is notifying the general public that in order to facilitate the smooth conduct of the 46th Independence Flag Raising Ceremony at the National Park, the following roads will be closed from 17:00 hrs. today (May 25, 2012) to about 01:00 hrs. tomorrow ( May 26, 2012).
The roads are:
Thomas Road between J.B. Singh Road and Camp Road
Albert Street between Woolford Avenue and Thomas Road
Drivers of motor vehicles attending the event are required to note that ingress and egress will be through the Carifesta Avenue entrance.
