…Cuckold killer still on the run
Mrs. Ursula Wilson, mother of the 22-year-old miner who was hacked to death two days ago, said
that her son, Junior Joseph, was forced to leave the Essequibo Coast in search of employment, at a young age, due to the lack of employment opportunities there.
A sad Mrs.Wilson, who resides at Onderneeming, Essequibo Coast, said that she last spoke with her son on Sunday and that he
anxiously told her that he was making rapid strides in relation to his production in mining. He assured her that every other thing was fine with him, she said.
Mrs.Wilson added that the following day, Junior placed another call; this time he spoke with his sister, Fonda Joseph, and asked her to put some credit in his phone. She said that after Junior received the credit into his phone, he made a gratitude call to his sister.
The woman said that she learnt that her son was murdered some time around 2:00am on Tuesday.
She added her son’s body was scheduled to be flown to Georgetown yesterday for a post mortem.
Mrs.Wilson said that Benjamin’s father has assured her of taking full responsibility for footing the expense to transport her son out of Region One.
Junior Joseph has left to mourn his parents and four sisters.
According to police reports, Junior Joseph’s neck was almost severed by his boss’s 20-year-old son who caught Joseph in a compromising position with the young woman.
The female is said to have also received life threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
“I will miss my son for a long, long time,” Mrs.Wilson said.
