The visiting Bagosports Beach Football Club out of Trinidad and Tobago ended their Goodwill Series against Guyana Red Jaguars on a victorious note after registering two wins and suffering one loss in the best of three Series that was played at the Christianburg facility in Linden.
In the opening game, Bagosports squeezed past the Red Jaguars 6-5 with Jerome Dickenson (8th), Chad Apoo (18th & 26th), Shallun Bobb (19th) and Captain Makan Hislop (23rd & 31st) minutes, being the goal-scorers for the visitors, while Keon Sears 4th, 5th & 22nd), Kennard Simon (29th) and Michael Wilson (20th) responded for the locals.
In the second match, Bagosports registered a similar amount of goals to edge the Jaguars, who netted 5.
For Bagosports, Makan Hislop netted in the (1st & 31st), while Stevon Stonte (8th), Chad Apoo (21st) and Andre Red (27th & 31st) supported admirably.
For, Red Jaguars, Colwyn David hammered in a treble in the (24th, 25th& 27th), Keon Sears (19th) and Michael Wilson (33rd).
In the final game of the Series, Red Jaguars beat Bagosports 7-3
For Red Jaguars, Captain Jermaine Grandison scored in the (4th & 6th), Keon Sears (8th), Michael Wilson (34th) and Colwyn David (22nd, 34th & 35th).
Makan Hislop (10th) and Chad Apoo (17th) responded for Bagosports.
Bagosports received the Goodwill Series Trophy compliments of Linden Care Foundation.
Chad Apoo of Bagosports was voted MVP of the Series and he received a Red Jaguar T-shirt compliment of Guyana Beach Football Association.
