It has been almost a year since a pensioner residing in Latchmansingh Street, Tucville, complained to the Guyana Power and Light Corporation about this rotting, vine- infested post in an alleyway in close proximity to her home.
Despite promises, no effort has been made to have the post removed.
Perhaps, as in the recent case of the Cemetery Road Bridge, disaster has to strike before action is taken.
