Members of the Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA)
donated $100,000 cash to the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) following a night match played recently at the DCC Ground. The money will go to the purchasing of a Brush Cutter to aid the club in the upkeep of their ground.
Floodlights, an association populated by a wide cross-section of members including several city businessmen, are known to make charitable donations to sport organisations, persons and other bodies including religious organisations.
