Dear Editor,
I would like to reply to the Fredrick Kissoon Column in Friday April 27, Kaieteur News. I hope that the Kaieteur News will publish my letter.
I am the Administrator of the Aquatic Centre. I sat next to Mr. Kumar when he spoke to the media. Mr. Kumar never mentioned Kissoon’s name during the press conference. However, Mr. Kumar and our staff decided to clear the air after Kissoon came and threatened the staff at the Aquatic Centre.
I want to let Kissoon know that I am an ex Military Personnel and I would not allow him to threaten my officers more so his threats to the female cleaner and guard is unacceptable.
Kumar made it clear that the facilities are available to the public but we have rules and regulations on how the facilities operate.
Freddie Kissoon is behaving like an animal in a circus. He cannot perform like a clown because of the hog-wash that comes out of his mouth. Freddie cannot appreciate good hygiene, hence, I must let him know that we have facilities at these Pools for every person to have a shower before they enter the pools.
His stupidity and ignorance manifested when he compared the swimming pools with the Harbour Bridge and the Public Roads.
Kissoon said that he swims in the Atlantic Ocean. Well this intellectual fraud cannot differentiate between the Atlantic Ocean and the Seashore.
Further, he refers to policemen and soldiers swimming in six feet deep pools. Well, we are responsible for peoples’ safety and we will continue to administer the pools with maximum precaution and safety.
Since Kissoon is swimming in the Atlantic Ocean for decades, then I recommend that he should jump off the Demerara Harbour Bridge and take a good swim. Guyanese are entertained daily with his missive.
