Heavy rainfall in the Berbice area which left the Bush Lot United Turf Club at Bush Lot West Coast Berbice waterlogged forced the organisers to postpone yesterday’s One day Horserace meet.
Eight races were scheduled with over $3M on offer and some 60 horses entered.
Along with Banks DIH, the other sponsors were Mohammed Shariff of the Shariff racing stable, Buddy Shivraj, Jumbo Jet Auto Sales, GT&T, Rommel Jagroop, Trophy Stall Bourda market Inshan Bacchus, Lenny Singh, Chatterpaul Deo, Phagoo’s General Store and Businessmen Shano and Mohammed Khan.
A new date for the event will be announced by the organisers shortly.
