Floodlights, Success Masters, Essequibo Invaders qualify for Semi final.

Super-16 round action in the Hadi’s softball male open competition is fixed for tomorrow and Sunday at various venues. Following are the fixtures.
Saturday April 21
Education Ground: Pitch 1: 09:30hrs – Challengers vs Herstelling. 11:30hrs – Wolf Warriors vs Fazal Kayume X1. 13:30hrs – Winners will play.
Pitch 2: 09:30hrs – Farm vs El Commandante. 11:30hrs – Trophy Stall B vs Omesh X1. 13:30hrs – Winners will play.
Sunday April 22
Cyril Potter College Ground: Pitch 1: 09:30hrs – Trophy Stall A vs Success Warriors. 11:30hrs – Renegade vs Young Guns. 13:30hrs – Winners will play.
Pitch 2: 09:30hrs – Rockaway vs Bedi Ramjewan X1. 11:30hrs – Regal vs Front Liners. 13:30hrs Winners will play.
Affiance Ground, Essequibo: 11:00hrs semi final – Essequibo Invaders vs Success Masters.
Education Ground: Pitch 1: 09:30hrs – semi final – Floodlight vs Savage Masters. Pitch 2: 09:30hsr – Green Warriors vs Enterprise Stars. 10:30hrs – Fazal Kayume Angels vs Buxton Stars. 11:30hrs – 4R Lioness vs Ariel Divas. 12:30hrs – Trophy Stall Angels vs Underdogs. 13:30hrs – Rising Stars vs Mahaica Creek Princesses. 14:30hrs – Wellwoman vs Sweet Angels.
Meanwhile, in latest results – quarter finals
Male Over 40 yrs: Success Masters defeated Mahaica Masters by 152 runs. Success Masters 232 for 7 off 25 overs, Khemraj Baljit 96, Krishna Ramnauth 40. Mahaica Masters 80 all out, Seeraj Satro 4 for 16.
Floodlights beat Never Loose by 16 runs. Floodlights 202 for 6 in 25 overs. Wayne Jones 44, Lalta Gainda 34, Ricky Deonarine 33 not out. Never Loose 186 all out in 25 overs, A. Ali 60,  Rahaman Khan 3 for 34.
Essequibo Invaders got past Bedi Masters by 17 runs. Essequibo 212 for 9 off 25 overs. Bedi Masters 195 all out. Savage Masters beat Park Rangers. Park Rangers 155 for 8, Ricky Persaud 42. Savage 106 for 8, Falin Mohamed 51.
However, this match ended in protest, Park Rangers claiming that Savage Masters defaulted by playing a player who is below the age of 40. A decision on this matter will be made by 12:00hrs today.

Renegade got past Front Liners by 6 wickets. Front Liners 163 all out in 15 overs, D. Randee 3 for 12. Renegade 165 for 4 in 12 overs, H. Dilchand 46 not out.
