Jamaica closed the day on 99/3, that’s a lead of 169 in their semifinal match of the West Indies Regional 4-Day Cricket championship.
Xavier Marshall was not out on 54 along with Tamar Lambert 1 were at the wicket. Donovan Pagon 8 and Bernard Parchment 22 were two of the wickets to fall with Devendra Bishoo, Brandon Bess and Veerasammy Permaul each taking a wicket.
Jamaica earlier bowled out Guyana for 126 in reply to their 196 first innings total.
Shivnarine Chanderpaul led with an unbeaten 47. Richardson 2, Bernard 3, Cotterel 1, Miller 3 were among the wickets for Jamaica.
And Barbados were 116/5 at stumps versus Trinidad for a lead of 255 in their second innings in the second semifinal.
Barbados had made 223 batting first and dismissed T&T for 84 to take a comfortable lead.
