The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) would like to inform all cricket clubs that the Tenelec Inc Under-15 Inter-club would bowl off this week as the Board starts preparing for the upcoming Inter-county Tournament.
BCB would be using the two weeks break in the school calendar to play off the round robin stage of the tournament before selecting the four Inter-zone teams for the NCN Inter-zone Tournament.
Players have to be born on or before the 31st August, 1996 and clubs are warned that the Board will ban all teams that are found guilty of playing over age players.
Teams are informed that the Elizabeth Style Under-19 tournament round robin matches will also be played during the school break.
The Tenelec Inc Under-15 Tournament usually attracts over 35 teams in both Regions 5 and 6 including defending champions Rose Hall Town Farfan & Mendes Ltd, Albion Community Centre, Young Warriors, Blairmont Community Centre and Bermine.
The sponsor is the United States of America based Company Tenelec Inc of Maryland.
