The day has finally arrived and all the preliminary buzz and predictions will collide this evening when the 2nd Edition of the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Futsal Football Competition in Linden commences with eight matches slated for the Wisroc / Amelia’s Ward Bus Park, starting from 18:00 hrs.
In the fixtures: Constab Warriors takes on Amazing, Top class battles MiniBus, Classic Six square off against PokerBurg, Wisroc collide with Goal Getters , Pepper Skull engages Star Boys, Sheriff Squad will try to evade Ripping Bullets, Attackers and Eagles clash and Spightland and Amelia’s Ward Russians close out the night.
The tournament is scheduled to run until May 5 and will be played at different venues within the community.
The winning team will receive $500,000, runner-up- $250,000, 3rd place-$150,000 and 4th place-$100,000.
Prizes will also be given to the most outstanding players in addition there will be giveaways for fans.
