The battle for supremacy continues tomorrow afternoon when the referee’s

Tiger Bay three scorers in their game against Uitvlugt.

whistles are blown to signal commencement of the quarterfinals in the Mayor’s Annual Knock-out Inter Ward Football Fiesta at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) from 4pm.
Eight teams, Bourda, Kuru Kururu, Wortmanville, Alexander Village, Kitty, the winner of West Ruimveldt/Newtown Kitty, West Ruimveldt Estate and the winning team of the Tiger Bay/Albertown match will be looking to gain bragging rights as they fiercely try to qualify for the next stage of the competition which will carry them closer to the first prize of $500,000.
Bourda and Kuru Kururu will set the atmosphere as the sun sets to open the show. Worthmanville and Alexander Village will clash in the second contest while the winner of West Ruimveldt/Newtown Kitty game will play Kitty in the third game.
The final match will see winner of Tiger Bay/Albertown sparing with West Ruimveldt Estate.
The ghetto team Tiger Bay smashed Uitvlugt 3-0 earlier in the tournament; once the team repeat their great performance, then tomorrow’s game will be a mouth watering one when the two teams clash (West Ruimveldt Estate and Tiger Bay). Okanie Fraser (59th), Rensford Coleridge (66th) and Calvin Shepherd (69th) were the three scorers for Tiger Bay.
