Christianburg / Wismar Secondary and Harmony were the latest teams to register wins when the Edward ‘Screw’ Richmond Memorial Schools Football Competition continued on Tuesday, at the Wisburg Secondary School ground.
The scheduled opening game saw Harmony benefit from a walkover after Linden Foundation failed to show up for the engagement, while Christianburg / Wismar cruised past Marcia Craig’s Educational Institute by a 5-0 margin.
On target for the winners were Nigel Caesar (6th), Leon Hohenkirk (22nd), Yannick Simon (31st and 33rd) and Mario Batson (50th).
The tournament continues tomorrow, at the same venue with two more exciting matchups.
In the first game, Mackenzie High School faces off with Linden Technical Institute and that will be followed by the clash between Wisburg and New Silvercity Secondary.
Play begins at 15:00 hrs.
