BK Western Tigers, Pele, Rosignol United and Alpha United defeated their opponents, while Den Amstel
and Seawall played to a one all draw Sunday when the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Super League continued around Guyana.
The game between Den Amstel and Seawall saw Clement Brown scoring for the latter in the 50th minute to put Den Amstel in the desperate position to score. Den Amstel equalized sixteen minutes after when Travis Hilliman netted in the 69th min with a penalty kick.
BK Western Tigers clawed Amelia’s Ward 4-2 in the first game playing at the McKenzie Sports Club ground. Dwayne Alli opened the account for the Tigers in the 16th minute. Sherman David then banged in 2 goals in the 28th and 75th minute. Philip Rowley closed the account in the 77th minute.
Amelia’s Ward goals were scored by Shawn Daniels and Gavin Daw in the 78th and 83rd minutes respectively.
In game two, Pele upset Milerock by 1 goal to nil when Ezekiel Jones scored in the 67th min.
At the BV ground, Rosignol United defeated Victoria Kings 3-1 when the first game kicked off. Victoria Kings opening goal in the 30th did not stop determined Rosignol from netting three goals to take a well fought victory. Delbert Wilson, Delroy Fraser and Cornel Taylor scored in 42nd, 83rd and 85th minutes.
In the 2nd game Alpha United trounced Buxton United by 5 goals to nil. Leon Grumble scored the 1st goal in the 33rd min, Anthony Abrams kicked in two in the 35th and 56th minutes. Kris Camacho and Manasseh Primo scored the final two in the 42nd minute and 74th minute.
