Play in the GFF Super League will continue with 5 games at 3 venues today.
At the Uitvlugt Ground commencing at 13:45 hrs, Sewall United and Western Tigers will start the ball rolling. Both teams are on 1 win each after 2 games. Seawall won their game not on the field but by way of protest against Pele, whilst Tigers defeated Buxton in their last game.
Seawall will be depending on Delon Josiah, Clement Brown, Toine Lopes, Adami Hoyte and Marvin Griffith in goal. While Western Tigers will look to Devon Millington, Dwayne Ali, Sherman David, Jerome Richardson, Daniel Favourite, Paul Giles and Phillip Rowley.
In Game 2 at the same venue, Den Amstel and Pele will meet at 15:45 hrs. Den Amstel with 1 win will strive to increase their points tally with a win against Pele who demolished Seawall by 7 goals to 1 only to lose that game after Seawall protested the inclusion of Gregory Richardson.
Den Amstel will depend heavily on their leading goal scorer Andre Hector who scored 6 goals in the preliminary round, Gideon Payne, Rondel Hutson, Kester Jacobs, Aubrey Cummings and Travis Hilliman, while Pele will depend heavily on Travis Grant, Konata Manning, Marvin Joseph, Solomon Austin, Shawn Arthur and Shemroy Arthur in goal.
At the GFC Ground at 18:30 hrs League leaders Alpha will have to be at their best to stop Rosignol United in the lone game at that venue.
Alpha will have in their lineup Howard Lowe, Abassi McPherson, Manasseh Primo, Shevane Seafort, Quincy Madramootoo, Kevin McKenzie and Richie Richards in goal. They will however be without Anthony Abrams, Daniel Wilson, Kris Camacho and Andrew Murray who are all members of the National Team who will be going to French Guiana.
Rosignol will have in their lineup Tyson Carmichael, Olvis Mitchell, Travis Henry, Delroy Fraser and Gaston Barker.
Up at Linden, in game 1 at 18:00 hrs at the MSC Ground, Buxton and Amelia’s Ward will battle and Buxton is aiming for their 1st points and will be depending on Keoma Sullivan, Travis Phyll, Les Charles Critchlow, Denvir Dennis and Eson Hamer.
Amelia’s Ward will have in their lineup Travis Waterton, Jermain Corlette, Nathaniel Giddings, Kenroy Thom and Rayon Fraser.
In the final game slated for 20:00 hrs, Milerock and Victoria Kings will bring the curtains down. Victoria Kings will be depending on Pierre Joseph, Winston Pompey, Aubrey Gibson, Calvin De Souza, Sherlock Dowden and Andrew Williams in goal. Milerock who are also unbeaten will have in their lineup Ryan Crandon, Marlon Maxius, Kevin Sullivan, Kieron Cameron, Randy Jerome, Steve Brewley and Clive Nobriga.
