Barath’s unbeaten 79 leads T&T strong reply against Guyana

Earlier, Guyana, second in the points table behind defending champs Jamaica, began the day with Shiv Chanderpaul 21 away from his 62nd First-Class ton and Derwin Christian on 18 and the left-handed Skipper added just one to his 79 before he was removed.
The other batsmen fell quickly as T&T enjoyed a good first session in the field and Barath will have his eyes set on his 7th First-Class hundred when play resumes at 10:00hrs on the penultimate day today.
In the other matches, the Leewards were 121-5 in their second innings after making 138 in their first innings as they lost first innings points from the home team Barbados who scored 317 in their first innings.
And in Grenada, the Windwards were 106-4 in their second innings after making 148 in their first innings to lose first innings to CCC who made 208 in their first innings.
