DEAR EDITOR,
I am responding to a letter sent by Mr Frederick Kissoon which appeared in the Tuesday March 13th edition of your newspaper titled ” Lambert evades facing the truth”.
Kissoon seems unaware of important aspects of the law. Legal experts have advised me and I know from my own personal experience that heresay is what it is: hearsay and it is inadmissible in law.
Kissoon has alleged that he was told that the PPP/C was involved in skulduggery at a Polling Place in Cane Grove at the last General and Regional Elections. He also asserted that he was informed that at this particular Polling Place the AFC and APNU had no Polling Agents. I refuted this allegation by supplying the relevant information to prove that APNU had Polling Agents at all the Polling Places that GECOM had identified to us.
If Kissoon had checked this information he would have seen that even though the AFC did not have Polling Agents at those Polling Places they did receive votes at ALL of the polling places in Cane Grove. Was this by accident? I don’t think so. It was because APNU had Polling Agents at these places. These Agents observed the balloting and counting and signed off on the process. The Statements of Poll were collected and sent to APNU Operations Room as was directed. This is all I am saying. I have supplied the proof to back up my statement..
It seems to me that Freddie does not like to lose an argument. I will ignore Freddie after this letter. This is my final one on this issue. I do not want to play ”Last Lick” with Freddie!
Earl Lambert
