scored half-centuries against Trinidad and Tobago yesterday on the opening day of their sixth round Regional four-day game in Port-of-Spain.Guyana, who beat the Leeward Islands, CCC, and Barbados, lost to Jamaica and the Windward Islands, batted 90 overs yesterday and will be looking for a total well in excess of 300 when play resumes at 10:00hrs today.
In the other matches, Barbados, led by 67 from former Test batsman Dwayne Smith, were 134-5 in Barbados after left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn (4-17) and Smith (3-39) had helped to dismiss the Leewards for 138.
And in Grenada CCC were 48-3 replying to the Windward’s 148.
