Mr Editor,
Perpetrators of white collar crimes are usually better educated, are less often sentenced to imprisonment and are often not prosecuted by the system of criminal justice.
Politicians and Government employees may obtain illegal financial gains by furnishing favours as is evident by the numerous disclosures of embezzlements and frauds unearthed by the viligance and efficiency of the opposition.
The multitudinous amount of dishonest and barefaced acts committed on hard working tax payers by these organized white collar criminals, will be recorded as the most devastating assault on our treasury by a bunch of shameless and remorseless thieves.
This contagion is transmitted to every region, and to the NDCs and Regional Democratic Council. In many instances there are no records available for perusal and scrutiny.
Similarly, treatment must be meted out to regional officials, in that they who are found wanting should be hauled before the relevant authorities, to account for monies received and spent during their tenure.
The unsightly surroundings in some regions spell volumes and it is time to clean up these Administrations, beginning with Central Government and by extension the regional officials.
A healthy environment will rehabilitate diseased minds.
Babu John appears to be the place where the leaders of the PPP/C become demonized in their relentless and unwarranted assault on their adversaries.
These dishonorable cuss birds show total disrespect for someone they claim to idolize and embrace his legacies. There are two contrasting pictures of the two political parties in the honoring of their founder leaders. At the seven ponds lie the remains of individuals of high moral standards and as such their memory must be an embodiment of such.
Dr Jagan did not spend his political life carping about and demeaning his rivals. It is evident that those he left behind not only do him a disservice but would never learn.
