Meanwhile, Carlton Baugh and Kavesh Kantasingh were the stars on opening day of the fifth round match in the Regional Four-Day Championship at Queen’s Park Oval.
Baugh slammed an unbeaten 101 as Jamaica reached 242 for 9 at the close. Kantasingh grabbed 6 wickets for 80 to restrict the Jamaicans and put them in a spot of bother earlier on at 84-6 at one stage. Danza Hyatt 53 and Nikita Miller 39 were the other Jamaican batsmen with useful contributions.
