The Guyana Police Force is investigating the death of a dreadlocked man who was found lying on a parapet opposite the Russian Embassy, Rupert Craig Highway, East Coast Demerara.
The deceased, who was identified as Monty Vincent, 43, was discovered yesterday afternoon on the parapet. The police was informed at 16:45 hrs.
From initial investigations, the deceased had no marks of violence and it is believed that body was not there long.
He was clad in a white, red and black stripped jersey, a pair of blue jeans and a pair of white sneakers. The decease had in his pocket a wallet which contained a National Identification Card, papers and passport size pictures.
