Despite the fact that some of the top motor racing drivers have consented to participate
in the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club Fun –Day today, at the club’s Headquarters on Albert Street, it is predicted that the rivalry among the upcoming young brigade will dominate the day’s activities.
Most of the young karters are expected to compete and even though the rivalry might not be able to match that of two weeks ago at the South Dakota Circuit, the fact that Stanley Ming Jnr stole the show, his rivals will be looking to dethrone him come today.
Among those who’re slated to compete are Elliot Vieira, Matthew Vieira, Mikhail Seereram, Denzil Hopkinson, Raymond Seebarran, Alex Fiedtkou, Matthew and Jonathan Phang and Edward and Alex Powers for the boys, while the girls will be spearheaded by Britney Seereram, Emma Vieira, Stacy and Serena Ming and Alexandria Phang.
However, seniors such as Marcus Fiedtkou, Kevin Jeffrey, Stanley Ming Snr and Mark Vieira are also confirmed to add flavour to the day’s exhilaration.
