Another gold miner was killed following the second ATV accident in the North West District (NWD) within three days.
Brazilian Joaodo Deus Silva, 46, of Port Kaituma, is the latest victim.
He died on Sunday,last, hours after he crashed the all terrain vehicle he was riding.
His death followed that of another miner Deon Fernandes, 28, of Mabaruma, who perished on Friday after he too crashed an ATV at Baramita, NWD.
Police said that around 10:00 hours on Sunday, Silva was driving an ATV along the roadway at Jonestown, Port Kaituma, when he lost control of the vehicle which turned over several times.
As a result he and the pillion rider Winston Bernard, 22, of Port Kaituma, received injuries.
They were both taken to the Port Kaituma Hospital where Silva was pronounced dead on arrival, while Bernard was treated and sent away.
Investigations are in progress.
