Everyday de noose tightening and people getting more worried. Brazzy see all de talk bout jumpsuit, orange jumpsuit, and he complain how de thing getting he worried and he can’t sleep when de night come.
He claim how he call Granger and tell de man that he ain’t do nutten and Granger tell he that he ain’t got nutten to worry about if he ain’t do nutten. But Brazzy still can’t sleep. He tell dem boys that he can’t sleep, that he feel funny.
Well dem boys watch he funny and ask he if he get thoughts about killing heself. He seh that ain’t sure suh dem boys call Uncle Donald and ask he fuh keep Brazzy pun de wuk. And watch he close.
Faith got similar feelings and dem boys watching she too. She claim how she get kick out and how she want wuk wid Uncle Donald.
But de man claim how he got other people who thinking about problems and he got he own problems. He tell Faith fuh think before she jump and how he hope she ain’t jump off de Bank of Guyana because it gun look bad pun he.
Manny got problems too. Dem boys seh that he get vex because of some story bout somebody smuggling whisky. And dem call he son name.
Now that is not nice fuh any man fuh hear he son in trouble and he want fuh know if Uncle Donald hear de story. He call Brazzy and Brazzy tell he that he can’t deal wid that problem because he got he own. Manny worry that he gun get call scampish and how people gun seh that he was part of de Big Rat Cabinet.
He and all got dem boys thinking about suicide. If dem gun hang demself it mean that dem might have a rope shortage.
De problem suh nuff that Uncle Donald even buy a piece of rope fuh give some of dem suh that dem would just lef he in peace. He sending a piece fuh de Big Rat just in case but he really worried about Brazzy. De man losing weight, not that people would notice because he got so much.
And dem boys don’t mean to ease off de pressure. Brazzy and Faith and de Rat got to really worry. Even sleeping tablets wouldn’t help dem.
