Man shot, robbed of chain
A 49-year-old man is nursing a gunshot wound to his left hand after being shot and robbed at

around 15:00 hrs in North East La Penitence.
The victim, Jolyon Harry, of Freeman Street, East La Penitence said that he was going to check on his brother when he was cornered by two men, whom he suspected had been trailing him.
“The one in front of me suddenly tell the other one ‘now’ and the one at the side pull a silver gun. I said ‘no no’ and I put my hand up to block, but he shoot.”
He fell to the ground and the robbers relieved him of two gold chains worth $138,000 and a cell phone before escaping.
Passersby took him to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation.
