-unknown persons calling to say he has been murdered
Family members of 32-year-old Muniram Mahadeo, also known as Kumar and Bruk Belly, are now panicking as they have not heard from him since October last.
Reports are that Mahadeo left his 161 Patentia, West Coast Demerara home, to take up a job in the interior. He has not been seen since.
Meanwhile, the man’s parents have taken ill as a result of the stress.
The man’s three sisters, Shaneza, Waheeda and ‘Mama’ revealed that they have been receiving anonymous calls from persons who claim that their brother has been murdered.
The three then opted to visit a few funeral homes early yesterday morning to make certain that none of the corpses there were that of their brother.
“We went to the Lyken’s Funeral Home this morning to identify if any of the bodies is he own. But none were,” one sister noted.
“Every time mommy hear something about he (Mahadeo) she does faint,” another sister lamented.
Mahadeo also has a three year old daughter who has been very distraught since his disappearance.
“We just praying that it is because he doesn’t have (cell phone) credit or network mek he ain’t call we. And if he sees this, I want him to know that we very worried and he should call,” one sister said.
But they believe that their brother, being the loving type, would have found every means possible to keep in touch with his family.
In hoping that Mahadeo returns before his birthday (Mashramani Day), the family is asking anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mahadeo, also called Kumar and ‘Bruk Belly’, to contact them on telephone numbers- 664-1279, 698-5708, 664-1615.
