Dear Editor,
I am somewhat concerned over some reports that some members of the teaching staff at the Mabaruma Secondary School are verbally harassing people over a TV news report on the state of the school and dorms.
This is downright ‘eyepass’. Citizens have every right to speak out against atrocities that affect them and/or their children and the School is in a deplorable state. This is no lie. Why must teachers molest these innocent people? They have done their civic duty by bringing this to the attention of the authorities.
We have learnt that the HM is rigorously campaigning to be elected as President of the GTUC. Well, Mr. Editor, if he cannot properly manage the School that falls under his stewardship, how could he be voted in to run the affairs of such an august body.
