Sukhdeo ‘Ricky’ Jagnarain, 5th Dan Black Belt and President of the Guyana Karate Association (GKA), was recently promoted to an ‘A’ referee by the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), National Karate Programme Referee Council. The examination took place in Orlando, Florida recently.
Sensei Jagnarain also have an ‘A’ Referee license from the Trinidad and Tobago Karate Federation (TTKF), the largest umbrella karate body in Trinidad and Tobago.
Sensei Jagnarain will be representing Guyana at the World United Karate Organization (WUKO) Caribbean Cup Championships in Port of Spain in September. He will be taking the WUKO Continental Referee course at this event.
