“The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) would like to express great remorse at the loss of our dear friend and colleague Mr Robert Williams”, the body stated in a media release.
The release continued, “He was a real patriot, a son of the soil and a genuine friend of cricket, always willing to assist in any way possible. He will indeed be sorely missed.
The GCA would like to offer its deepest sympathy to his dear wife, Gwen, and family during this time of great loss. Please be assured that our thoughts and prayers are with you.”
