Mohamed Ali of Team Fullworks and Stanley Ming Jnr. Produced some stunning performances to remain unbeaten when the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club held its opening Meeting yesterday, at the South Dakota Circuit.
Ali, who campaigns in the Rookies Division, was simply unstoppable, romping to two victories in as many starts to be crowned Champion Driver, while Ming Jnr was equally impressive, winning two of his three races to also claim the top prize in the category.
Also registering solid displays were defending ‘B’ Class Super bike champion Carey Griffith, who looked inspiring, winning one race, before retiring after falling on the back straights, while Afraz Allie, Mohamed (Shairaz) Roshandin, Suriname’s Oliver Tjin-Liep-Shie, Andy Rajkarran (125cc), Ricardo Fagundes, John Joseph and Alexander Fiedtkou, all finished on top of the podium at least once.
