DEAR EDITOR,
The Peeping Tom’s Article written and published in the Kaieteur News dated February 02 2012, is predicated upon the assumption that the President appoints and dismisses the Director of Public Prosecutions.
This assumption is wholly erroneous. Under Article 199 of the Constitution of Guyana, the DPP is appointed to and removed from office, by the Judicial Service Commission.
