Under the Guyana Improving Teacher Education Project (GITEP) – a Ministry of Education venture – bids were received at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) yesterday, for the purchase of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) equipment.
There were four lots in the bidding system: – Lot (1) Servers, Netbooks, and Printers; Lot (2) Digital Cameras; Lot (3) Projectors and Lot (4) Copy Machines. The bids submitted:

One bid was submitted for the repair and refurbishing of the fleet of fiber glass boats (for 2012) for the Guyana Defence Force (GDF).

Under the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Department, two bids were submitted for the provision of garbage collection and disposal services for the Herstelling/ Little Diamond Neighourhood Democratic Council (NDC). The bids:
