Events does mek people realise how important dem important. Teachers use to beat children when dem ain’t know who is Minister because a Minister is suppose to be a powerful person. Now even de teachers don’t know who is de Minister.
Sam been to a function de other day and he and all didn’t know who was de Minister of Tourism. In he speech he telling de foreign diplomats about he colleague “What’s his name again?” De man done forget Manny and is only de other day all of dem use to sit down at Cabinet.
At another function at UG a man introducing Bheri and he call he Leslie. People don’t know de Ministers. That is why Priya want dem to revamp de whole education system. She want people to know she. Imagine dem boys calling she Shaik Baksh. That is only part of de problem.
In school when dem teacher ask de children who is de president dem children still saying Bharrat Jagdeo. Imagine Uncle Donald walk in a school and dem children saying “Good Morning President Jagdeo.” This time Jagdeo deh till in de bush relaxing.
Dem boys want to know why he lef he good, good house fuh stay in Teperu. De man ain’t even coming to town. He don’t even tek walk in Bartica. It got to be that he hiding. But dem boys want to know from what?
