Looks to create healthy clientele
The Body Max Gym of Croal Street and United Nations Place in Georgetown
is under new management and looking to create a healthy clientele in keeping with the Ministries of Sport and Health programme of a healthier Guyana.
The institution, which came under new management last week, is keen and is geared to tailor an exercise regimen to the specific client so each person can achieve their desired goals. The programme will entail a diet plan tailored within the client’s eating habits.
What was noted that the diet will not require persons adapting radical eating habits, but rather eating as normal but in a planned programme (taking into consideration portion size and times) to maximize their exercise programme and the desired result. Constant checks, measurements, will also factor into the assessment of the members.
To this end, Body Max has secured the services of a nutritionist who they consult to assist clients. Those with personal goals, whether it be serious bodybuilding, strength training, just keeping fit or losing weight are catered for and have specific programmes set.
Four instructors are employed by the gym to oversee the clients. Body Max boasts at being the only gym to be now opened on Sundays. The opening hours are Week days from 5:00am to 9:00pm and from 9:30am to 2:30pm on Sundays.
Aerobic sessions are held between 9:00 and 10:00am and 5:30 and 8:00pm daily. For those interested in joining the gym they have a corporate fee which is $3,500 per month with a $500 charge for the keycard to access the facility, while regular its $4,500 per month with the $500 keycard charge.
The gym also sells high quality bodybuilding and nutritional supplements at reasonable costs to help keep the clientele in top condition. Coming soon to the facility is a health food restaurant which will provide a healthy eating alternative to persons using the gym.
