Some people like dress up. Sam is a peaceful man but when is de occasion he does dress up. De other day was Chinee New Year. Dem had a great occasion wid dancing and speech and nuff things to eat.
When is Diwali Sam wear a khurta. And it was a nice one. Then when was Eid he wear another nice thing that look like if it come from Islamabad. When is August Monday nobody can look more African than he. Dem boys seh that de man got some real serious African garb.
But de Chinese shirt tek de cake. De thing nice. It suh nice that de Chinese Ambassador go upstairs and change then come back but he couldn’t match Sam.
Other people use to try fuh dress fuh de occasion. Burnham use to dress when he had a function at de army; when was national service; when was people’s militia and when was wedding. Donald don’t worry bout dem thing. He does dress fuh any occasion.
Dem boys seh that Uncle Donald got couple shirt jac. De red one is fuh de army and de white one is fuh press conference. De question of clothes is something else. Gail use to wear sari till she grow in de other direction.
But talk fuh rain, talk fuh sun. Some of dem Minister changing clothes like nutten. Is because de old set get tight. Dem Minister putting on size because living good. Dem got to buy clothes every other month and people wondering why some of dem getting heart problems.
But when all is said and done, clothes is not everything, except same Chinee shirt.
Talk half. Lef half.
