De Rat know fuh sure that he was getting a gift this birthday. He did done plan de occasion like how he plan all dem deals, including de Santa Complex deal wid Bobby.
All de deal was secret and de birthday gift was secret too. De Rat plan this thing down to de wire. It was suh secret that even Freddie didn’t know. He didn’t feel, see or smell. He does know everything. He like write and talk bout everything, even thing he don’t know.
When he guh by UG gate and de guard stop he, Freddie ask if de man don’t know he. Is then de guard man tell he “I know you but dem tell me that nah wukking here no more. I can’t allow you to pass.” Is just suh UG done wid he and dem do it pun de Rat birthday.
Freddie cuss de Rat every day. He cuss de Rat fuh tea, breakfast, lunch, supper, dinner and even midnight snack. He do this before he retire. Freddie tun 60 a whole year ago. He tell dem boys how he was 59. Anyhow, although he meet de retirement age de Rat allow he fuh continue fuh a whole year. And he cuss de Rat that whole year, too.
But GECOM got de birth certificate and is when he cuss GECOM that people know that he is 61 and he got to get out of UG. Now he can cuss de Rat whole year always remembering that he and de Rat got one thing in common, de same date that is de Rat birthday is de same date UG done wid Freddie. He gun always remember January 23.
But dem boys want know why Freddie think he coulda stay at UG like if is he own. De Rat had a contract and when de contract end he had to guh. He didn’t have a wuk. He decide that he alone wouldn’t be unemployed. Now he got Freddie.
But Freddie ain’t fun. When UG tell he that he ain’t write no papers all de time he at de campus, he carry a whole vanload of de Waterfalls paper and show dem de page 10.
But he can teach elsewhere. Dem boys seh that he can teach at de American, Canadian, British and Chinese Universities. He can also join the Three Stooges friend full time and protest whole day and night. Or he can join Killaman in Brazil and kill time.
