Race Meet at Mocha set for next month

 

The Georgetown Turf Club will stage a gymkhana and fun day tomorrow at their Mocha Arcadia, East Bank Demerara racetrack.
The Turf Club has been forced to postpone their scheduled horserace meeting to sometime next month.
Club official Nigel James informed that the access road to the venue was recently rehabilitated and the venue is generally in good condition, however, the racetrack in parts has been affected by the recent rainy weather.
They are programming another seven race programme when they hold the meet next month.  Races were originally slated for H & Lower horses, I & Lower and I3 & Lower race, K & J Class race, L & Lower class, the Un-classified race and the event for Cart Horses.
