After limiting Sisters to 146 for 9 in their allotted 25 overs; West Canje in response lost an early wicket with
just one run on the board, but thereafter it was smooth sailing as opening bat Ryan Mohamed (77 not out) and Wahab Edoo (46 not out) combined efforts to overhaul the required 146 runs in an unbroken 2nd wicket stand of 146.
All they needed was 15.2 overs to seal the win which took West Canje to the top of Zone D, securing their slot in the playoffs of the 2011 New Building Society Second Division 40 over tourney in the Ancient County.
Also advancing to the playoffs were Young Warriors after winning their final Zone E preliminary match to end up as the top team. Pacer Kawal Mangal grabbed 5 for 18 from 6 overs to help skittle out Police for 50. Young Warriors went on to wrap up victory by 8 wickets.

At Lochaber – West Canje humbled Sisters by 9 wickets. Sisters 146 for 9 in 25 overs; Hardat Arjune 57, Robin Seebarran 27, Raymond Mohamed 2 for 1, Wahab Edoo 2 for 25 and Michael West 2 for 27. West Canje 147 for 1 in 15.2 overs; Ryan Mohamed 77* and Wahab Edoo 46*.
At Cumberland – Young Warriors hammered Police by 8 wickets. Police 50 in 21.2 overs; Kawal Mangal 5 for 18 and Kassim Khan 2 for 17. Young Warriors 51 for 2 in 8.2 overs.
At Kortheberaadt – Flying Star brushed aside Glasgow New Scheme by 111 runs. Flying Star 229 in 28 overs; Carl Campbell 45, Shurland Laundry 33, Carl Barron 27, Alvin LaFleur 4 for 21 and Kamal Khan 3 for 27. Glasgow New Scheme 118 in 23 overs; Deon James 33, Quincy DeVelde 3 for 9, Ravi Bridgelall 2 for 9 and Carl Barron 2 for 24.
At Cotton Tree – Cotton Tree Die Hard defeated Sundown by 145 runs. Cotton Tree Die Hard 274 for 8 in 35 overs; Ishwar Singh 55, Shazad Gafoor 46, Tage Singh 31 and Sunil Saffie 4 for 37. Sundown 129 in 29 overs; Sunil Saffie 29, Pooran Persaud 4 for 24, Ishwar Singh 2 for 9 and Godfrey Woodruff 2 for 22.
At No.72 – No. 72 Cut and Load beat No.73 Young Warriors by 5 runs. No.72 Cut and Load 147 in 30.1 overs; Gobin Roofram 5 for 28 and Lakeram Latchman 3 for 18. No.73 Young Warriors 142 in 29.3 overs; Lakeram Latchman 43, Anil Persaud 5 for 28 and Michael Singh 2 for 35.
