Dear Editor,
On Thursday, President Donald Ramotar expressed his disappointment of APNU and AFC banding together.
However, I see a grand opportunity which has been presented before Mr. Ramotar. Instead of looking at what he believe is a “negative”, I pled for him to look at what he can achieve.
Mr. President, You should be proud to be the first President to be elected into the first true democratic era of the nation.
Be Proud Mr. President, for you have the chance to lead this Country and your MPs down a successful and promising road.
A road which was paved by your dictating predecessors, since the birth of this nation, with fools-gold.
Be Proud that you are the first to truly Govern and Lead our Country!
Be Proud, Mr. President; for you have made history!!! And you will go down in the history books as the “Father of our Nation”, who diplomatically lead this country without a majority lead dictatorship.
Be Proud!
Erase the names of those who before you had it easy! Erase those who didn’t have to sweat! Who didn’t have to be a diplomat! Who didn’t have to be a “PRESIDENT”. Don’t be Disappointed sir, Be Proud to be the first true democratic father of our nation.
Don’t condemn them sir; they are here to help you make History.
“Four Scores and Seven Years…” from now, no one is going to remember any of their names…
Because it is Your Name which will be written.
Be Proud! Be our first Democratic Leader! Be the first real father!
BE OUR PRESIDENT!
Trevolta Karran
