The decomposed body of the man found at the Montrose, East Coast Demerara koker
on Monday evening is yet to be identified.
The mutilated body was discovered with the upper section, including the head, missing. The body was clad in a pair of camouflage pants. Fishermen said the torso appeared to have been eaten by marine life.
Some fishermen related that no one in the area was reported missing.
The decomposed body was removed by Lyken Funeral Parlour. Crime scene detectives also assisted with the removal, and photographed the body.
