Ashmin’s opens ‘Curtains up’ Department
On Thursday last, the Ashmins Departmental Store launched its latest department called ‘Curtains up’. This comprises of over 30 different types of curtains of various designs and colours.
Kaieteur News was told that the Department also features curtain accessories including decorative curtain rods, tie backs and tassels.
Public Relations Officer (PRO), Rose Gunraj stated that the curtains were all individually hand-designed and are being sold exclusively at Ashmins.
“The curtains, which are made from a variety of materials including silk, lace and velvet, along with decorations such as crystal beads and frills, can be used in almost every room in the home”, Gunraj added.
Co Director of Ashmin’s, Ashley John cutting the ribbon to inaugurate the store’s newest Department.
She highlighted that this is one of many extension to the Ashmins store and pointed out that more departments will be popping up in the future as Ashmins continue to evolve.
The official opening of the Department was done by Co Director of Ashmins, Miss Ashley John.
