A portion of Norton Street Lodge, between Chapel and John Streets, is in need of urgent repairs for several months now.
This busy thoroughfare has been getting worse and has been a bug bear for motorists and pedestrians alike.
Residents are becoming fed up that it has been allowed to deteriorate for so long.
Large potholes have developed in areas that have been repeatedly patched by road repair crews in the not too distant past.
These potholes continue to grow larger with constant use.
Recent rainy weather has left some of the holes filled with water and poor drainage in the area usually results in the road remaining waterlogged.
Residents and motorists are calling on the relevant authorities, whether it is the City Council or the Works Ministry, to look at this road and fix it soon, since it is “long overdue”.
