St John’s, Antigua – In a release to the media the West Indies Cricket Board has noted a recent pattern of WIPA press engagements seemingly aimed at establishing a familiar unsavoury and antagonistic approach towards the WICB.
The Board also notes WIPA’s comments relating to an arbitration matter.
The release went onto state that, the WICB is cognizant that this and other matters are before the courts and as such the Board will not make any public pronouncements on the details of this matter until the process is completed. However the Board wishes to restate that it will continue with its programme for the restructuring of West Indies Cricket and will pursue through all available channels the arrangements that are necessary for the progress of cricket in the territories and the region.
