Heeralall Bridgelall stroked a well composed 90 (7×4 7×6) and was the main contributor to Shieldstown’s
total of 261 for 8 in 35 overs against No.3 in their latest match in the 2011 New Building Society Second Division 40 over cricket competition.
When No.3 responded, they could not have coped with opening pacer, Riaz Imam, who captured six wickets to leave them reeling at 26 for 6, he ended with 6 for 13 from 5 overs.
Off spinner Kumar Bridgelall cleaned up the tail with 3 for 4 from 1.4 overs to help dispatch No. 3 for 49 in 15.4 overs; Shieldstown winning by 212 runs.
After medium pacer, John Percival, conceded just one run from his first over for Courtland All Star in their match against Kendall’s Union B, without giving away another run he picked up two wickets from the last two balls of his second over and two more from the first two balls of his third to register the first helmet trick in the competition.
He went on to take another wicket in his third over to clean up Kendall’s Union B for 80; ending with the amazing bowling figures of 5 wickets for 1 run.
Berbice Under-19 all-rounder, Kevin Ramdeen, slammed 68 and then took 2 for 14 to help defending champions, Young Warriors defeat Seawell by 167 runs.

At Seawell – Young Warriors trounced Seawell by 167 runs. Young Warriors 245 for 9 in 30 overs; Kevin Ramdeen 68, Rudolph Baker 44, Sanjay Khan 32, Mortimer Fraser 27 and Totaram Deonarine 4 for 34. Seawell 78 in 18.5 overs; Charran Singh 4 for 24, Kawal Mangal 3 for 18 and Kevin Ramdeen 2 for 14.
At Lovely Lass – Achievers eased past Bush Lots Challengers by 76 runs. Achievers 212 in 35 overs; Kurd Griffith 48, Raffel Estriado 35, Dennis Webster 28, Sherwyn McPherson 27, Rajbance Hemraj 3 for 28, Raj Sooknanan 2 for 25 and Agnadeo Sooklall 2 for 42. Bush lot Challengers 136 in 28 overs; Agnadeo Sooklall 39, Asif Khan 25, Sherwyn McPherson 3 for 35, Dennis Webster 2 for 18 and Andrew Dennis 2 for 18.
