The Gafoors Group of Companies closed the year in service to the community. Company director, Ameena Gafoor, said that she would like to put good books into the hands of as many children as possible as she feels that books are the key to human growth and development.
She also said that by encouraging children to read and discuss books from an early age we could raise a new generation of young people with a renewed sense of integrity, morality and understanding of their place in society.
Mrs. Ameena Gafoor said that she would be willing to assist any remote village or community to start up a small library that school children and other villagers could access.
She said that while there will be a Laptop per family, there must be books in every home.
Here she is seen presenting toys to children who found themselves in the Georgetown Public Hospital in the Christmas week.

This is a worthy cause and I commend Mrs. Gafoor for her kindness.
Great idea to set up small library in remote villages.
