The owner of a grey Toyota Allion is seeking the help of the public to locate his car, which vanished mysteriously while it was left locked and parked in Robb Street yesterday.
Jevon Samsodin’s bad luck began yesterday when he rented his car, PNN 1202 to Gavin Baksh, of Friendship, East Bank Demerara.
Baksh told Kaieteur News that he parked the vehicle at around 16:00 hrs yesterday in Robb Street, a short distance from the City Mall. According to Baksh, he then locked the vehicle and went into the City Mall, where he had a meal and also had a haircut.
However, when he came out some two hours later, the car was gone.
Samsodin said that he reported the theft at the Brickdam Police Station and at the Alberttown Police Station.
The owner, who can be contacted on telephone number 645-1075, is offering a reward to anyone who can provide information about the whereabouts of the vehicle.
