Some lucky teams will receive their Christmas bonus when Dynasty Sports Bar presents a massive two-day Countrywide 27 teams Dominoes Competition which starts tomorrow, at the Malteenoes Sports Club and ends the following day, at the Dynasty Sports Bar.
Manager of Wild Bunch Dominoes Club Deon Carter presents the first prize trophy to Tournament Organiser Mark ‘Jumbie’ Wiltshire yesterday.
Entrance fee per team is $10,000 and the first prize is $200,000 a trophy and six medals, second prize-$100,000 and a trophy, while the team that finishes third will receive $50,000.
According to a release, the first tem teams to register will collect six beers of their choice or a bottle of rum.
Among the sponsors are Ansa McAl Trading, Chung’s Global Enterprise, Balram Singh and Wild Bunch.
Teams interested in participating in the tournament could call the following telephone numbers to register: 674-1275 or 682-1679.
Yesterday, representative of Wild Bunch Deon Carter sponsor of the winning trophy presented it during a simple ceremony conducted outside Police Consumers Co-op Society Ltd Supermarket on Robb Street, while Cleon Carter of Chung’s Global Enterprise donated the second prize trophy.
The tournament is being organised by Mark ‘Jumbie’ Wiltshire.
