In what the pundits regard as a major upset, Seawall FC clawed back from a 1-0 deficit to register 2 goals and send Bakewell Topp XX packing 2-1 when action in the Kashif and Shanghai football championships continued at the Uitvlugt Community Centre Ground on Sunday evening.
Contrastingly, Bakewell Buxton FC advanced after clinching a hard fought 2-1 victory against Den Amstel in the supporting game.
Colwyn Davis netted for Bakewell Topp XX in the 33rd minute. In the 48th minute Dellon Josiah slammed in the equalizer for Seawall, while Anthony Harding gave them the win with a penalty in the 71st minute.
Meanwhile, Bakewell Buxton Stars also advanced to the next round after disposing o Den Amstel FC 2-1. Jamal George double in the 3rd minute and a 61st minute strike by his teammate, Terry Caesar did the trick for Bakewell Buxton Stars, while Andre Hector pulled one back for Den Amstel FC in the 19th minute.
